East Chiltington

TECT Trees

A mature oak on the TECT field suffered severe damage to a large limb and was deemed unsafe.  The tree surgeon inspected the tree and found disease and so it has been cut down and the branches have been left to rest on the ground.  Although it looks dramatic there should be years of life left in the tree.  There is a hive of bees inside one of the trunks.  Over the coming months we plan to survey all the trees in the TECT field.  If you have any questions or concerns about trees in the TECT field please e mail carovickers@sky.com TECT Trustee.
